Four driving modes and EV, one Tamburo selector

The Tamburo selector on the center console changes how the Urus SE Performante drives, from comfortable cruising to the racetrack to gravel. Choose a mode to see what it does and where it suits Colorado roads.

Strada: Comfortable everyday driving

Strada keeps the AURA suspension in its softer dual-chamber setting through normal driving, switching to the firmer single chamber only under high cornering forces. The Hybrid strategy balances the V8 and electric motor automatically.

Where it fits in Colorado: Daily drives on C-470 and I-25, and long highway stretches up I-70 toward the mountains.

Sport: Fun-to-drive on road and on track

Sport moves to the firmer single-chamber setting sooner, sharpens shifts for a more engaging feel and lets the torque-vectoring rear differential help the car rotate under power. The Akrapovič exhaust delivers a longer-lasting bubbling note.

Where it fits in Colorado: Winding foothills roads west of Denver, where turn-in precision and quick direction changes matter.

Corsa: Track mode, maximum performance

Corsa holds the suspension in its stiffest single-chamber setting at all times, delivers a strong push on upshifts and increases engine braking by 35%. The exhaust note gains more amplitude.

Where it fits in Colorado: Track days at High Plains Raceway east of Denver, with optional Bridgestone Potenza Race 22-inch track tires.

Rally: Fun-to-drive on gravel and light off-road

Rally mode returns from the previous Urus Performante and is not offered on the Urus SE. It keeps the suspension in its compliant dual-chamber setting at all times and is calibrated for low-grip surfaces.

Where it fits in Colorado: Maintained gravel roads to mountain properties, cabins and trailheads across Colorado.

EV: Discreet driving in city traffic

EV mode runs on the 25.9 kWh battery and electric motor alone, up to about 84 mph (135 km/h), until you ask for more power or the battery reaches its minimum charge. Lamborghini publishes more than 60 km (about 37 miles) of electric range on its global test cycle.

Where it fits in Colorado: Quiet morning departures and local errands around Highlands Ranch, Cherry Hills Village and the DTC.

Inside the engineering

Powertrain at its peak

A 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 and electric motor deliver 1,000 Nm from 2,000 rpm for a flatter torque curve and longer pull. Hold the left paddle and Pull and Hold drops instantly to the lowest possible gear, while engine braking increases 20% in Sport and 35% in Corsa.

Carbon fiber and aerodynamics

The Urus SE Performante carries the most exposed carbon fiber ever featured on an SUV and the widest spoiler lip of any SUV in the world. The new front splitter adds 16% more front downforce and cuts front lift by 50 kg, while the redesigned spoilers add 10% at the rear.

AURA dual-chamber air suspension

Each air spring has two chambers. The single chamber is stiffer for maximum grip and control; both chambers together give a more comfortable ride. The system switches automatically based on driving mode and cornering forces, spanning daily comfort to track-rated precision.

6D sensor and Integrated Performance Brake

The gyroscopic 6D sensor feeds real-time body and traction data to stability control so it can intervene before grip is lost. The vacuum-independent Integrated Performance Brake gives a more direct, linear pedal, stopping from 200 km/h in under 130 meters.

Titanium Akrapovič sound

The lightweight titanium exhaust removes the X-cross between cylinder banks, uses different main and secondary tailpipe diameters and adds a tuned resonator for a louder, cleaner note. Bubbling lasts longer in Sport and gains amplitude in Corsa, and the engine revs on startup.

Cockpit and connected services

A 12.3-inch configurable instrument panel, updated interface graphics and natural voice control with "Hey Lambo" put everything within reach. The Unica app adds remote charging, climate and departure timing, with service availability depending on market.

The Urus SE Performante is the high-performance version of the Urus SE plug-in hybrid Super SUV and the new top of the Urus range. A 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 and a permanent-magnet electric motor produce 812 CV (about 801 hp) and 1,000 Nm (about 738 lb-ft). It adds extensive carbon fiber, AURA dual-chamber air suspension, the 6D sensor, the Integrated Performance Brake, a titanium Akrapovič exhaust and Rally mode.

Combined system output is 812 CV (597 kW), about 801 hp, at 6,000 rpm, with 1,000 Nm (about 738 lb-ft) of torque from 2,000 to 5,500 rpm. At 3 kg per CV, Lamborghini rates its weight-to-power ratio as best in class.

Lamborghini quotes 0 to 62 mph (0 to 100 km/h) in 3.3 seconds, 0 to 124 mph (0 to 200 km/h) in 10.8 seconds and a top speed of 312 km/h, about 194 mph. Lamborghini calls it the fastest SUV in the world.

Yes. A 25.9 kWh lithium-ion battery under the cargo floor powers the electric motor. Lamborghini publishes more than 60 km (about 37 miles) of electric-only driving on its global test cycle, and EV mode runs up to about 135 km/h (about 84 mph). EPA-rated U.S. range had not been published at the time of writing.

Compared with the Urus SE, the Performante adds power and 50 Nm more torque, weighs 32 kg (about 71 lb) less, responds to the throttle 20% quicker and gets 8% better brake cooling. It also adds AURA dual-chamber air suspension, the 6D sensor with the Integrated Performance Brake, a titanium Akrapovič exhaust, Pull and Hold multiple downshift, a full CorsaTex interior and Rally mode.

Rally mode returns from the previous Urus Performante and is not offered on the Urus SE. Lamborghini calibrates it for fun-to-drive on gravel, low-grip surfaces and light off-road use, with the suspension kept in its softer dual-chamber setting. In Colorado, it suits maintained gravel roads to mountain properties and trailheads.

The Urus SE Performante has Lamborghini all-wheel drive with torque vectoring, plus four-wheel steering. Lamborghini offers Pirelli Scorpion Winter 2 tires for the cold season, and the air suspension includes ride-height adjustment. We can add a winter wheel and tire setup to your order.

Lamborghini publishes performance under standard test conditions. At Denver's elevation, any engine that breathes air makes somewhat less power than at sea level, though turbocharging reduces that loss. The electric motor's output does not depend on air density, so its contribution is available at any elevation.

Lamborghini's standard warranty is 3 years with unlimited mileage, and the high-voltage battery is covered for 8 years or 100,000 miles, whichever comes first. Confirm U.S. coverage details with our team when you order.

Lamborghini lists trunk capacity at 454 liters, about 16 cubic feet, with a split-folding rear seat for longer items.
